Simtoo Moment Foldable Selfie Drone Unboxing [English]
The fashion of selfie drone has grown rapidly, and manufacturers make them available at an increasingly affordable price. I therefore decided to inaugurate this new year with the review of a drone that boasts the best construction quality at a competitive price, this is the Simtoo Moment model. I report below the contents of the box.
UNBOXING
The parcel, sent by DHL courier, took 3 working days to come to the destination.
The package is in good condition, as you can see in the following pictures:
The drone is contained inside a nice case of synthetic material of elegant finish, which I personally appreciate very much.
It also allows to carry the accessories.
The drone, made of a very flexible but at the same time resistant material, is portable and foldable.
Being small (21x15)cm it can be carried comfortably. The canopy has a height of 4.8cm,
while the "propeller guards" have a height of 2.4 cm. With the arms open the drone extends instead of 26cm in width.
The propellers are protected by a grid that assumes the function of a propeller guard, thus preventing the aircraft from colliding with obstacles.
The camera has a photographic resolution of 16MP and a video resolution of 3840x2160p at 25fps.
Through the official app it is possible to vertically rotate the one-axis gimbal.
At the bottom some sensors are placed that help the drone in the stabilization in indoor:
an Optical Flow sensor and an ultrasonic sensor to keep the altitude constant.
Among the included accessories we find: a transformer, of unspecified power, input voltage of 100-240V,
at a frequency of 50-60Hz, current intensity of 1.3A, and output voltage of 12V to 3.0A;
a cable with a Chinese plug to connect the transformer to the socket;
a charging station for powering the battery through the coaxial connector of the transformer or the USB-Micro USB cable
included in the package;
a hexagonal key for unscrewing the protection grid of the props;
a battery with a current intensity of 2900mah and a nominal voltage of 7.6V.
The LED indicates the state of charge and, by prolonging the pressure for 5 seconds, it allows to turn on the aircraft;
a manual in English very exhaustive except for the app name, which does not correspond to the declared one.
